When I was in Iran 10 years ago or so, I was surprised to find carrot jam being served at breakfast, had never seen it before. I forgot how it tasted. What I didn’t forget, is how friendly everybody was, even though I had to tell complete strangers my life’s (uninteresting) story a zillion times :-).
Thank you for breaking down the tray components! I made it at home once but didn’t have the right bread. And I love the soaked walnuts tip bc they def are a bit too bitter for my taste when I eat this at Persian restaurants.
I’ll definitely make a carrot jam recipe post soon! 🫶🏼 I haven’t made rose jam before but I’ve been wanting to work on a recipe for it, so perhaps I’ll post that sometime in the future 🤍
